Welcome to the penultimate taco joint in the world that doesn’t make tacos.  We don’t make tacos. We don’t sell tacos. We make ideas. We sell ideas. And some of those ideas involve tacos. And Mexican food in general. But most of the ideas have nothing to do with Tacos or phone numbers. So, you get it. Right? Good. Now, just sit down on a three-legged stool and listen. We are creative. We create things that are creative. Not corporate. Not Icelandic. Not religious. Just creative. Also, we’re not saying Iceland isn’t creative. We just don’t understand that language. It’s too creative. Like us. We see Iceland as a competitor. So, back off Iceland! We are 1-800-Tacos and we will take you down. And we will become your worst nightmare, worse than your other nightmare- Greenland. Thank you for your time.

1-800-Tacos is a division of Ian Cohen, LLC. Ian Cohen, LLC is Ian Cohen, creative director, writer, thinker, ex model. Ian scales up or down depending on the job at hand. but just so you know: Ian is a former founder, creative director of the Wexley School for Girls as well as a former copywriter at Wieden & Kennedy and Hammerquist & Saffel, and almost as cool, former teen model for a local Durham, NC Ford dealership. Ok, it was one tv commercial and we were just a bunch of kids they asked to be in it.

Teams Ian Likes

I care about what teams you like. So it’s only fair you care about what teams I like.

Duke Basketball is number one. Don’t hate me for that, but I grew up on Duke University campus and I was born into it. Not my fault. I figure that most people from Kentucky will stop reading now.

Seattle Seahawks Football. I moved to Seattle in 1994 a Miami Dolphin fan. The mediocrity of the Dolphins and the uprising of the Seahawks enabled me to fully switch allegiances. Also, I worked on the Seahawks so I got a little more into them that way.

Seattle Sounders: Same thing. I helped launch this team, so there will be no going back.

Atlanta Braves/Seattle Mariners: I grew up a Braves fan, since we had the AAA Durham Bulls which at the time were the Brave farm team. Since moving to Seattle I’ve jumped on and off the Mariner bandwagon. I’m running along the train waiting to jump back on.

All Blacks: I don’t know much about rugby, but I do know that as a team, brand and aura, I love the New Zealand All Blacks. Too good.

Vesteras SK: I don’t know anything about Bandy, a popular sport in Sweden, but I know winners. And Vesteras has like 20 Championships. They are just straight up dominant. And I like that so I like Vesteras SK.
